Hello Herb and Regina,
First I want to say that this portrait of Ernie makes me feel as if I have met the fellow. I haven’t of course,but I can truely see the essence and energy of this person in his portrait.
I am sorry to hear of hard times…I too can say I totally understand. Life hasn’t been so nice to me. But with my passion at seeing a possible painting out of everything I see? Well that gives me an escape from the reality of my life, and the world around me. This I am sure you both know very well.

Hello again Regina!
We met at Michaels in Corvallis, and ran into each other on another occasion there.I’m the one with reddish brown hair that can Never decide which color of yellow I can afford. Thank you for the advice and time you spent visiting with me on both occasions we were there.
I enjoyed veiwing your peice ” The Sentinal”, and see such talent. I am only at the beginning of my painting life,and I hope to always keep the passion I feel at this momment.

“Lamplight” is a complex peice.My favorite part of the painting is the color Values of the Lamp! The light beaming from it is so brilliant. I Must learn how to do this! Also the intricate work of the tapestry design is amazing!!I can only imagine the time spent creating such a wonderful peice of art!

I recently meet you and your wife at “Michaels” in Corvallis. I’m the one who told you that everywhere I go and everything I see,literally,I see it all as if I will be painting it. My life has forever changed.
