Flowers Everywhere

I was making up a portfolio of my work and Regina was burning CDs to sent to galleries that deal with fine art. The place that was doing the portfolio for me,  made up a book, and it has 73 of my paintings in it. So, to make a long story short, Grass Roots is having a book signing and reception on Oct. 22 I do not have the time yet. The book will be sold at Grass Roots and Pegasus Art Gallery for $30.00. I cannot seem to sell paintings because of the economic crunch, but at least I can gain exposure of my work through this book. So, wherever you are, please come down on Oct. 22nd, or visit the Pegasus Art Gallery and Grass Roots book store to see my book. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Dear People, there is an art show for the month of July starting the 6th at the LaSalle Stewart Center. July 16th is the reception. It always is a great show showing all kinds of wonderful art, and getting together with old friends. Please mark this on your calendars. Yo will not regret it. Have a great Fourth of July.

Japanese Beauty

Dear People: I was in three galleries in Oregon. All three are now closed. Forrrest Temple in Corvallis closed last year around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Opus 6 in Eugene,and George Broderick Gallery in Lake Oswego, closed a couple of weeks ago. Problem is that with so many wonderful artists here, we need a place for our work to be displayed so that the public can appreciate the beauty. Times will turn around, and I hope for the country, things will turn around quickly. In the meantime, we must continue to paint to bring beauty to our world. So have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend, and paint, paint, paint.

Winter Crossing

Dear People, Regina got tired of the new look, and decided on another new look. She states, she likes this one better. We both hope you caught the Gazette Times Entertainer two Fridays ago where in the “Artist Spotlight” they pick an artist each week to talk about and show three samples of their work. Regina was extremely pleased with the Gazette Times, and e-mailed them a thank you.  So enjoy the new look of my web/log, and enjoy the coming of SPRING.

Regina gave my weblog a new look. She also added my weblog onto Facebook so that more people will see my work. So all you artists out there check it out, and maybe we can all use Facebook to do some advertising of our work. It doesn’t cost anything, and nothing ventured, nothing gained. Have a great day.

Samantha's Wedding

Herbie has gone to the Big Apple for his Grand-daughter’s wedding. A real, big, lifetime event. All the family will be there, and it should be a great reunion for him. However, the weather is going to be snowy right after the wedding, and he might have to stay longer. They expect 8 inches of snow. When Herbie returns I am sure, he will be so HAPPY to be home. Hope he takes lots of pictures at the wedding. It would be great for me to see his family. So, have a good weekend everyone. Enjoy Oregon, and do not complain about the rain.
